We invite our members and collaborators to join the Indigenous Teaching and Learning Circle discussion list.
The Indigenous Teaching and Learning Circle (ITLC) is a space by and for Indigenous teachers, learners, and researchers of the Americas, Global Indigenous neighbours on this planet, and for those who acknowledge themselves as Friends and who self-identify as not-Indigenous, in the field of Indigenous Knowledges (IK) and Native Education.
The Indigenous Teaching and Learning Circle is committed (1) to recovering, revitalizing, reclaiming and stabilizing distinct Indigenous Knowledges; (2) to advising and consulting together distinct and shared areas of interest, in relation to particular cultural contexts, and from Indigenous perspectives and Indigenous Social Responsibility; and, (3) to encouraging development of Indigenous Studies, teaching, research and publishing as orature, literature, and via the cultural arts, from Indigenous cultural contexts and perspectives.
